Great review from Austria!

Great review from Austria!

Concerto magazine reviewed LOVE UNKONWN with great enthusiasm!

The Italian pianist Lorenzo De Finti stood on a concert stage for the first time at the age of five, since then he has been very successful in Europe and the USA with his music.  De Finti studied, among others, with Gil Coldstein at the Berklee Collage of Music and worked with greats like Lee Konitz, Richard Galliano and Jan Garbarek.  Together with the bass player Stefano Dall’ Ora, who is playing the first piece as if he would rather play an electrik guitar solo, the sparklingly intoning trumpeter Gendrickson Mena from Cuba and the rocky drumming punch given by Marco Castiglioni offers De Finti  album a Jazz Rock Fusion influence, which goes much further than this category could ever describe.  The quartet with its great playing mood and the rhythmically very varied compositions of the pianist is perfectly coordinated.  Of course, the trumpeter Mena sets highlights with his notes, but at the same time Lorenzo delights the passages of the painted bass with the pianist’s sparkling runs, and all of this is done with the best use of the beat, witness Marco Castiglioni on drums!
